Felicita

She is an extraordinary jewel, a model of breeding artistry. Fantastic lines of exterior, stunning plasticity, enchanting movements — she is a perfect creation of the Universe! Felicita’s breeding class is at a very high level. Already three of her daughters — by Secret, Jazz, and Totilas — have been included in the breeding program of our stud farm.

The mare Felicita (breeder: Status-Victoria DBS) is the daughter of the top dressage stallion Fürstenball. Her father, Fürstenball, is one of the most influential figures in modern world breeding of dressage horses. Winner of the keurings and performance tests with a dressage index of 154.98. Stallion of the Year in the Oldenburg Association in 2013 and in the Hanoverian Association in 2017. He has a large number of licensed sons and daughters of the highest class, as well as a huge number of offspring achieving success in sport. The offspring of Fürstenball are highly sought after by buyers — one of his first-class foals was sold at auction for €400,000, and at the auction in Verden in 2013, the price of his descendant reached €460,000, and that foal went on to win the highest award. There are many such examples.

The mother of Felicita is the mare Agra, one of the first mares included in the breeding program when Status-StudFarm was founded, who had a significant influence on the breeding development of the stud farm. Over time, the daughters, granddaughters, and great-granddaughters of Agra have become some of the most represented mares in our breeding program, and with each generation, their value continues to increase. Each foal of Felicita is a combination of quality, breed type, and foundation. They stand out with their expressive type and rare blend of elegance and athleticism. The temperament of her offspring is very pleasant — they are eager to cooperate and have a natural talent for achieving great sporting success.

Sire: Hanoverian stallion Toto Jr. belongs to the stable “GLOCK horse performance center” which was created by the strongest dressage riders Edward Gal and Hans Peter Minderhoud. Toto Jr. is the son of Totilas and the Hanoverian mare Desperada, whose sire is Desperados FRH, a two-time silver medalist at the 2015 FEI European Championships in Aachen. Toto Jr. became the first licensed son of the legendary Totilas at the Hanoverian Keurung in Verden in 2013! Also approved for breeding by the KWPN and became the best participant of the KWPN Spring Stallion Performance Testing 2014 under the control of Edward Gal, the nine-year-old stallion scored 80.68 percent in the Grand Prix Special and was the only horse to reach the 80% mark. The following day, the duo scored a whopping 86.15 percent in the Freestyle. “When Toto Jr was three years old, I already knew that if there was a horse that could run Totilas’ Freestyle, it was him. I’ve been waiting for this for seven years. It’s still bold, but I have a feeling that Toto Jr could be even better than his sire.” Today, the pair of Toto Jr and Hans Peter Minderhoud are performing consistently at the Grand Prix level, and at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris they took 16th place with a result of 72.664%. Toto Jr himself has proven to be a prolific stallion, and has been the most used stallion in Holland for several years in a row. He sired the most dressage foals in 2017 – 369, and presented the most foals at auction in 2017 and 2018. His offspring are very popular, they are already achieving success in the sport, sons are receiving licenses, and the authority and influence of Toto Jr himself continues to grow.

Damline – the mother is a large, luxurious, noble and talented mare Santa Bernay (breeder: Status-Victoria DBS), a daughter of Bernay. Bernay is a stallion who has conquered millions of hearts. The popularity of this stallion has always been high, the children were valued dearly, and especially now due to the limited number of offers on the market. Bernay’s sire – Boston was very successful in dressage under the saddle of Isabell Werth, and the dam’s sire Lord Loxley holds the title of Bundeschampion and Vice World Champion in dressage among young horses. Lord Loxley also produced several Olympic-level horses – Ferragamo, Anmarsch and Situs. Tarbagan is a UWB stallion of the Grand Prix level, and its greatness in the family is enhanced by the presence of PCI General through his daughter Sigara. A direct descendant of Dark Ronald, he was used for a long time and fruitfully in the Ukrainian horse breed.
